In this performance, important themes such as loneliness, fear and friendship are explored. Music is interwoven with theatre, as well as with song, dance and movement in interaction with the children. And who knows – perhaps you will even get to see some delightful tap dancing?
All people are connected as part of a greater whole. As one large “we”. Yet, while we share many things in common, each and every one of us is completely unique. You, me and I. Because no one is exactly like YOU.
Age group: 7–12 years
Performance length: approx. 35 minutes + 10 minutes post-performance discussion.
Educational material: available for teachers to use together with pupils before and/or after the performance.
The Hebbe Family – when the sisters of The Hebbe Sisters (song, dance & theatre) and Ulrika Hebbe (pianist) come together, everyone is swept up by their sparkling energy and joy. After more than 80 performances in collaboration with, among others, Estrad Norr, Kalmar Länsmusik and Wermland Opera, “You, Me and I” has engaged hundreds of children across the country.
Together, they encourage every child to dare to be themselves and to be a good friend. The performance can be adapted for different age groups and is characterised by high artistic quality, musical variety, diverse scenic expressions and interaction with the children in the audience.
